第6版首次加納入了在敏捷或者適應型環(huán)境中應用良好項目管理實踐的指南。各章節(jié)(或知識領域)現(xiàn)在有4個引導部分:核心概念、趨勢和新興實踐、剪裁考慮因素、敏捷或適應型環(huán)境中需要考慮的因素。 第6版格外重視項目管里中的戰(zhàn)略與業(yè)務知識方面,前三章對涉及項目管理的業(yè)務文檔進行了討論第6版增加了一個有關項目經(jīng)理角色的新章節(jié), 專門討論“PMI?人才三角”及組織對項目經(jīng)理的技能組合要求, 這些技能讓項目經(jīng)理更具競爭力, 并且在技術、領導能力、戰(zhàn)略和商業(yè)管理方面更有相關性。第6版相比5版, 增加了一個項目管理標準(美國國家標準:ASBI/PMI99-001-2017),這也是第6版比第5版增加篇幅的主要原因。 第6版內(nèi)容與敏捷項目管理由密切的相關性,PMI也首次推出了《敏捷項目實踐指南》。 《敏捷項目實踐指南》中英文版將于2018年6月由電子工業(yè)出版社出版。 本書利用一種專利防偽印刷技術印刷,旨在防止未經(jīng)授權擅自復制。紙張為灰色,而不是白色。復印或掃描本書頁面時,背景中隱藏的警告信息就會顯示出來。這種安全措施旨在阻止一切對本書的非法復制或偽造企圖。
